Provides specifications for the design of imaging or treatment facilities including calculating and assessing shielding requirements associated with different radiation sources and providing relevant advice in accordance to prevailing regulatory requirements.
Provides professional development, training, education and orientation in areas relating to medical physics and radiation safety.
Participates in research and development, where applicable.
Fulfils continuing professional development criteria and training requirements.
Participates in relevant departmental committees or work improvement teams.
Perform any other duties as assigned by reporting officer.
