Job Description

A brief job scope for Nursing Aide:

Medications serving with Staff Nurses
Supervision during mealtimes
Applying of external medications (eye drops, inhalers, creams etc.)
Serving of milk supplements to residents
Vital signs checking
Assisting in showering and grooming (nail cutting, shaving etc.)
Changing of dressing
Preparing and escorting residents for medical appointments
Ensuring residents’ medical needs are being attended to
Documentations (updating of parameters taken, milk supplements taken, monitoring of residents etc.)
Attending to medical emergencies
Doing rounds to check on residents
Assisting Staff Nurses in ad-hoc duties

Qualifications: Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
