Bathe the frail and weak residents with warm water at the shower areas twice a day
Assist Duty Officers and Nursing Aides in monitoring of residents bathing times
Remove soiled clothes to laundry areas for washing and to fetch clean clothes
Ensure residents are clean and properly attired
Assist both non-ambulant and ambulant residents with their toilet needs
Maintenance and Cleanliness of the Home:
Cleaning of dining hall after every meal including cutleries and utensils
Cleaning of dormitories as per schedule; washing, mopping, vacuuming, and
disinfecting
Regular toilet checks to ensure hygiene
Preparing of light meals and drinks for residents
Operating of laundry and ensure clothes are laundered correctly
Wiping of beds, cleaning bed pans and tabletops at regular intervals
Spraying of insectisides at regular intervals
Cutting of grass and watering plants
Rubbish disposal
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for the residents in the Home.
Other needs of residents:
To report any residents’ medical concerns to nurses/personal care officers on duty
Ensuring residents are at their scheduled locations/areas
Assist with movement of wheelchair residents within the Home and during outings
Patrolling of dormitories at regular intervals
Includes any other duties as directed by the Head of Home/Deputy head of Home o
or any authority duly assigned
