Job Description

A brief job scope for Nursing Aide:

  • Medications serving with Staff Nurses
  • Supervision during mealtimes
  • Applying of external medications (eye drops, inhalers, creams etc.)
  • Serving of milk supplements to residents
  • Vital signs checking
  • Assisting in showering and grooming (nail cutting, shaving etc.)
  • Changing of dressing
  • Preparing and escorting residents for medical appointments
  • Ensuring residents’ medical needs are being attended to
  • Documentations (updating of parameters taken, milk supplements taken, monitoring of residents etc.)
  • Attending to medical emergencies
  • Doing rounds to check on residents
  • Assisting Staff Nurses in ad-hoc duties

 

Qualifications: Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
